We are seeking a Neurologist for an outpatient general neurology locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania.
This full-time assignment offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive neurological care in an established outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a broad range of neurological conditions and be available to provide coverage for at least two weeks per month.
Overview
- Approximately 3 months assignment (with potential to extend)
- 8 AM–4:30 PM for 8-hour shifts or 7 AM–5:30 PM for 10-hour shifts
- Provide outpatient consultations and follow-up care for general neurology patients
- Evaluate and manage a variety of neurological conditions, including migraines, tremors, seizures, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, myasthenia gravis, and history of stroke
- Manage medication refills and respond to patient questions
- Collaborate with clinic staff and call center personnel to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Epic
- 100% adult
- EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neurology
- MD or DO
- Active Pennsylvania license (IMLC considered)
- DEA required
- ACLS required
- Minimum 1 year experience
