The OB/GYN will provide comprehensive women’s health services including prenatal care, labor and delivery, gynecologic surgery, preventive care, and ongoing reproductive health management. The OB/GYN will provide comprehensive women’s health services including prenatal care, labor and delivery, gynecologic surgery, preventive care, and ongoing reproductive health management. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver full‑spectrum obstetric and gynecologic care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care, including management of high‑risk pregnancies
- Perform gynecologic surgeries including C‑sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures, and in‑office interventions
- Conduct routine exams, screenings, and preventive health services
- Collaborate with nursing, midwives, anesthesia, pediatrics, and hospital leadership to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care
- Participate in call rotation with a supportive team
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality and performance‑improvement initiatives
- Engage in patient education, shared decision‑making, and culturally responsive care
Skills
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Eligible for New Jersey medical licensure
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and patient‑relationship abilities
- Commitment to quality, safety, and evidence‑based practice
